David Koob is an experienced trial attorney who defends clients in complex product liability, multidistrict litigation, premises, and other general liability matters.
In more than 20 years as a litigator, David has tried hundreds of cases in jurisdictions throughout the United States, in both state and federal courts and in administrative and regulatory proceedings. He has represented both public entities and private business enterprises. He has served as national counsel for several large corporations – including national restaurant chains, a national provider of residential security services, and a national real estate development and management company – managing their litigation dockets across the country.
Serving in the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General, David managed civil and regulatory matters for various Minnesota state agencies. David has also represented plaintiffs in product liability matters and defended clients facing criminal charges.
In 2022, David was appointed by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to serve as a Commissioner on the Minnesota Racing Commission. He also works as a statistician for the Minnesota Vikings Radio Network, and volunteers with Valley Athletic Association, a non-profit youth sports organization.
