Katherine Handy concentrates her practice on defending clients against product liability claims, with a particular focus on defending automotive manufacturers. Clients look to Katherine for her ability to skillfully navigate all stages of a claim, from the beginning of an allegation through trial.
Katherine's passion for litigation, keen attention to detail, and tireless work ethic drive her practice as an effective and efficient litigator. Katherine has previously managed a high volume of cases involving personal injury and premises liability. Her representative experience includes serving as lead trial attorney on three jury trials and arguing on behalf of clients in hearings throughout Texas. Additionally, she has extensive deposition and motion practice experience. Katherine's tactical style for case management is of critical significance to her research and analysis of the claims she's defending.
Katherine graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2015. While in law school, she became the first three-time national advocacy champion and highest ranked intra-school advocate in the history of the law school.
Outside of the office, Katherine enjoys spending time with her family (including her puppy, Petey), running half marathons and traveling.
