Tracy Kambobe's practice involves the defense of automobile, heavy equipment and e-cigarette manufacturers in complex product liability litigation. She works hard to ensure that matters brought against her clients are resolved favorably.
Tracy has extensive experience advising national and international companies on liability and other commercial litigation, notably surety and construction defense claims and consumer finance cases. She has litigated cases on behalf of national surety entities in pursuit of indemnification as well as banking institutions seeking defense from claims of federal law violations. She has also negotiated and drafted complex settlement agreements involving surety bond claims, foreclosure relief and consumer credit reporting.
In addition, Tracy has considerable courtroom experience, having served as a law clerk in both state and federal courts for nearly four years. At the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, she drafted more than 250 memoranda of law and judicial opinions and, at the Illinois Appellate Court, Third District, she drafted published opinions, orders, and memoranda concerning various complex litigation appeals. Tracy’s work in the courts gives her a well-grounded understanding of the court’s perspective as well as valuable insight into what influences judges and juries.
In her free time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as traveling and experiencing new cultures. She studied in Singapore, has traveled throughout Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe and Mexico, and looks forward to exploring South America.
