Jason Hodge focuses his practice on appeals and advanced motions, with an emphasis on product liability defense, class actions, and mass actions. Before joining the firm, Jason worked as an associate at another law firm where he devoted his practice to general civil litigation defense, which encompassed representation of both individuals and companies in Virginia state court proceedings.
After law school, Jason served as a term clerk for the Honorable Joel C. Hoppe, United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Virginia. During law school, he interned for a district judge in the Eastern District of Virginia and at the Office of the City Attorney in Richmond, Virginia. These experiences afforded Jason significant opportunity to hone his legal research and writing skills.
Jason is an active member of the Richmond Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute (DRI), specifically focusing on the opportunities afforded as part of the organizations’ respective young lawyers’ committees.
Outside of his practice, Jason enjoys spending time with his friends exploring all that Richmond has to offer. He stays active by playing soccer and running long-distance road races. He also is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
