Franchel Daniel is an ambitious associate, practicing solely on product liability litigation on behalf of automotive manufacturers, having launched her trial career with Bowman and Brooke as a law clerk.
Franchel is fully immersed in defending automotive product liability claims throughout Texas and beyond. She currently represents some of the nation’s leading motor vehicle manufacturers in litigation involving warranties, crashworthiness and vehicle structure claims, many involving fatalities. She also has experience defending subrogation cases. Her role in defending the firm’s clients includes conducting legal research and analysis, preparing witnesses for depositions, conducting depositions and drafting motions, briefs and memoranda. She also handles day-to-day needs on discovery aspects of the litigation including drafting responses, responding to meet and confer correspondence, and document review.
Franchel graduated in the top 15% of her class from the Charlotte School of Law. With a passion for public service and human rights, she was extremely active in many honor societies and organizations such as serving as the Public Interest Law Society Treasurer and a student mentor through the Black Law Students Association. She also worked as a legal intern with René Cassin in London, England, where she monitored legislation regarding the Human Rights Act of 1998.
In addition to her J.D., Franchel holds two Master of Science degrees in Psychology and Public Service Management. Outside of work, Franchel enjoys spending time with her husband and large extended family.
