Eden Darrell focuses her practice on the defense of medical device companies in product liability and mass tort cases and commercial litigation. She has defended companies and individuals at the national and local level and has represented manufacturers in multidistrict litigation and other coordinated proceedings.
Eden has tried cases in both the first- and second-chair roles, with second-chair experience in a medical malpractice trial. She is particularly well-versed in the medical device realm where she has handled multiple phases of litigation including treating physician depositions, medical expert depositions and plaintiff expert depositions. Through her strong written advocacy skills, she has also been entrusted in handling pre-trial documents including motions for summary judgment, Daubert motions and brief outlines.
Prior to joining the firm, Eden taught legal writing as an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond School of Law. After temporarily relocating to San Diego with her husband, she practiced as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California before joining Bowman and Brooke’s San Diego office.
