Morgan Drapeau focuses her practice on defending major automotive manufacturers in complex litigation involving product liability claims. Her experience includes defending claims of alleged product liability defects, crash site investigations alongside expert witnesses and recent class action defense work for a major automotive manufacturer.

Morgan’s regular responsibilities include conducting depositions, drafting motions, including motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss and protective orders. She also regularly drafts discovery requests and responses as well as provides legal research support to case teams.  

Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Morgan served as a public defender where she counseled defendants facing criminal charges. In this role, she conducted investigations of facts, drafted discovery requests, motions, memoranda and briefs and developed case strategy. Morgan also represented clients at preliminary and stand-your-ground hearings, argued motions and negotiated plea agreements. She second chaired two jury trials in circuit court and first chaired a magistrate jury trial.

In her free time, Morgan enjoys yoga and CrossFit, watching soccer, basketball and football with her husband and spending time with her cat and two dogs.
