Dimple Shah has nearly 20 years of experience representing corporate entities in product liability, personal injury and commercial litigation in the life sciences, health care and consumer products industries. She has also handled cases involving automotive product liability, warranty and residential construction. Dimple’s experience includes the defense and prosecution of various matters, including strict liability, negligence, gross negligence, breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, vicarious liability and deceptive trade practices claims, among others.

Clients rely on Dimple's varied background defending manufacturers, suppliers and distributors in all aspects of risk management and litigation. Dimple currently serves as outside general counsel for a large nutritional supplements manufacturer primarily managing commercial litigation matters. Dimple previously served as Texas-wide litigation defense counsel for a national laser medical spa and laser treatment company. Additionally, she represented a nationwide nursing home provider in high exposure litigation. She has considerable experience managing complex discovery, including a lead role in a nationwide litigation comprising over 5,000 cases.

Dimple works closely with her clients’ sales representatives and has amassed a significant amount of experience in defending them in litigation. Dimple has successfully argued key motions across courts in Texas and in other jurisdictions including California and New Jersey. She has deposed hundreds of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, treating and prescribing physicians and experts, and has defended depositions of corporate representatives, sales representatives and defense experts in various high-stakes litigation. Her experience also includes extensive deposition training and case work-up relating to mass tort litigation. 

Dimple was a 2012 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and continues to spur diversity and inclusion in the legal community.
