David focuses his practice on product liability claims, primarily for the automotive and pharmaceutical industries. He has served as first-chair trial counsel for major manufacturers, both foreign and domestic, in several states, including Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico and California.
David has tried to verdict numerous wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims. His vast experience defending the design and manufacture of products such as motor vehicles, industrial equipment, and outdoor power equipment helps him grasp the complex engineering and technology concepts that make up the products he defends. David has also defended clients in the pharmaceutical arena including manufacturers of diet drugs and anti-cholesterol medication. Additionally, he has served as statewide liaison counsel for defendant groups in high-profile litigation and has been involved with employment and insurance disputes and other commercial cases.
Outside of the courtroom, David is an avid woodworker and furniture craftsman and gives a great deal of his time to his community. He has served on the board of directors for a local youth baseball program and also serves as a volunteer judge for the Teen Court Association of Texas.
