Colin Cronin defends automobile manufacturers in consumer warranty litigation and product liability litigation.
A law clerk and paralegal at Bowman and Brooke for nine years before becoming a lawyer, Colin has drafted legal memoranda, pleadings, motions to compel, briefs and reports on warranty, product liability and environmental claims. He has deep experience managing the discovery process through both federal and state courts in California, including initiating and responding to discovery requests, constructing discovery databases, managing document production, interviewing expert and non-expert witnesses and drafting discovery motions.
Colin also has extensive experience working up cases for trial, including constructing trial databases, exhibit and witness lists as well as drafting motions in limine, notices to appear and produce, trial briefs and setting up war rooms. He recently spent two months working in the in-house legal department of a global automobile manufacturer analyzing and evaluating warranty claims and managing the customer-facing consumer affairs team.
While in law school, Colin served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stuart M. Rice of Los Angeles Superior Court. In this role, he analyzed and conducted legal research regarding pleadings, motions, objections, evidence and other filings in civil litigation. He also drafted rulings, bench briefs and statements of decision.
In his spare time, Colin enjoys being outdoors – water skiing, snowboarding, and rock climbing – as well as playing the violin and drums.
