Chanele Brothers Reyes defends medical device and pharmaceutical companies in product liability litigation.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Chanele advised clients in defense of construction defect, personal injury and general liability litigation and arbitration. As a plaintiffs’ lawyer, she represented clients in complex litigation and class actions, including representation of municipalities in multidistrict litigation involving manufacturers and distributors of opioids. Chanele began her career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert H. Whaley in the Eastern District of Washington and by designation on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Chanele has taken and defended lay and expert witness depositions as first chair, and she has drafted and argued dispositive motions. She has extensive experience researching and drafting pleadings, legal briefs, discovery requests and responses, dispositive motions, class certification and internal memoranda.
Outside the office, Chanele enjoys live music and travel – and combining the two activities. She has seen her favorite band in concert 13 times in four countries. In addition, she enjoys plant-based cooking and is a huge fan of the Texas Longhorns and Seattle Seahawks football teams.
