David J. Carrier


David Carrier concentrates his practice on defending a broad range of commercial disputes and product liability defense litigation on behalf medical device and exercise equipment manufacturers. An aggressive strategist with a passion for exceptional writing, David also handles complex class action litigation and appeals and advanced motion in state and federal courts throughout the country.

In addition to defending manufacturers, David has significant experience representing businesses in commercial and employment litigation, with a particular emphasis on trade secrets misappropriation and non-competition litigation. As a result, David has routinely advised business on protecting their trade secrets and confidential information and is equally comfortable in a courtroom or a boardroom. 

In law school, David cut his teeth as a student attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota and trying cases as a student attorney at the Ramsey County Attorney's Office. David was also a member of the ABA National Moot Court team and later coached his alma mater's moot court teams for several years following graduation.

Beyond his law practice, David enjoys playing golf, sailing, traveling and spending time with his wife and friends.
