Carlos M. Camandang


Carlos Camandang advises clients in automobile consumer warranty cases and on discovery and e-discovery matters.

Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Carlos worked on insurance coverage matters, bad faith litigation and insurance defense cases. He has experience in analyzing insurance policies to make recommendations to clients in the form of coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters. He has drafted pleadings and motions including an opposition to motion for summary judgment, motion to compel, motion to consolidate and motion to withdraw, and he has argued motions and appeared in hearings in California state court. Carlos has drafted and reviewed discovery petitions, including medical records review, and has taken and defended depositions. He has also composed mediation and arbitration briefs and negotiated for clients through mediation and arbitration. During law school, he served as a judicial extern where he drafted opinions and memoranda.

In his free time, Carlos enjoys playing beach volleyball, traveling and trying new restaurants with friends and family. Carlos was born and raised in the Philippines and is a native speaker of Tagalog. He is also proficient in Spanish.
