Audra Dean is an experienced litigator who defends businesses in complex commercial, product liability, mass tort and toxic tort disputes.
She has defended U.S. and international manufacturers and retailers in product liability matters involving consumer products, medical devices, power tools and vaping products. Audra has defended contractors, premises owners, manufacturers and distributors in asbestos related claims as well as claims arising from human exposure to mold and various chemicals.
Audra has deep experience in mass torts and litigation management – across multiple jurisdictions – including having managed more than 10,000 asbestos claims and a large team of lawyers which secured dismissal of 85% of cases and early resolution of others.
In her insurance and professional liability practice, Audra has defended insurance agents and brokers – in all lines of coverage – from E&O claims as well as handling bad faith and personal injury matters. She has also worked with a wide variety of insurance professionals and handled commercial disputes including noncompetition agreements and theft of trade secrets.
