Congratulations to Miami Executive Managing Partner Wendy Lumish for being recognized with the John P. Raleigh Award, the highest honor given by the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC). PLAC is a not-for-profit association of product manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and select regulatory, litigation and appellate professionals who work to shape the common law of product liability. The Raleigh Award recognizes an individual’s long-term service to the organization, particularly through contributions to PLAC’s acclaimed amicus program. Wendy received the award earlier this month at the PLAC 2023 Fall Conference and 40th Anniversary Celebration, where she moderated a panel called “PLAC at 40 – Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future.”
Wendy has been an active member in the organization for over twenty-five years, having written numerous amicus briefs and been a speaker at meetings. Wendy Lumish is the leader of Bowman and Brooke's Appellate and Advance Motions practice group. Her primary focus is on legal issues and appeals in defending product liability, personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She represents manufacturers of multiple products including automobiles, asbestos-containing products, medical and pharmaceutical products and sporting goods.
