Bowman and Brooke Logo

Tom Howard is a Partner with Bowman and Brooke who focuses his practice on product liability cases. He also defends intellectual property cases involving trademarks and liability cases involving over-the-road truck and bus accidents. He has defended cases involving all-terrain vehicles, automobiles, bicycles, motorcycles, electrical equipment and major bus accidents. In these cases, Tom has represented some of the world's largest product manufacturers and Greyhound Lines, Inc.

Tom also has a very active discovery practice. He is responsible for coordinating all discovery for the largest ATV manufacturer, Honda Motor Co., Ltd., throughout the nation. He handles all aspects of written and electronic discovery to avoid discovery motion practice and gets cases to trial when faced with attorneys who would rather win cases through discovery motion practice. He also participates in other areas of discovery and pre-trial preparation, including foreign and domestic company witness preparation and pattern issue defense strategy development.

Before joining Bowman and Brooke, Tom practiced in California, defending claims involving medical malpractice and product liability. In addition, he handled real estate and bankruptcy matters.
