On August 27th, an Arizona state jury issued a defense verdict after a 10 day trial concerning a forklift accident. In Borquez v. Toyota Industrial Corporation, plaintiff sought $9 million in damages alleging the forklift manufacturer was negligent and liable for the accident. Toyota argued the vehicle was built to safely withstand the capacity at which it was being used.
