Paul O'Neill centers his trial practice on the defense of product liability claims and on commercial litigation. His product liability work mainly encompasses defending automotive and vehicle manufacturers, as well as medical device and industrial equipment manufacturers. Paul's commercial and financial practice includes defending businesses in contract disputes and banks in lender liability suits.
He has worked at trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts in Michigan. While Paul's practice is primarily in Michigan, it also includes handling case work in Florida, Illinois, Ohio, and Alabama. Paul has handled complex cases from clients that include, Toyota Motor Corporation, BMW AG, Kannegiesser GmbH, Ford, GM, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Beal Bank, TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc., ACE Insurance, and Trulite Industries of Ontario, Canada.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Paul first-chaired several criminal cases as a prosecutor. He successfully represented clients in several trial and arbitration proceedings.
When he is not defending global clients, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and reading.
