An ambitious attorney, Patrick Cleary practices primarily in the area of product liability.
He attended the University of North Carolina School of Law, graduating with honors, and North Carolina State University, where he majored in chemical engineering, paper science and engineering, and history graduating summa cum laude. While in law school, Patrick was the director of the Law School Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program where he completed more than 180 hours of pro bono work. Upon graduation, he volunteered as a staff attorney at Legal Aid of East Tennessee for nearly a year assisting clients in domestic relations and civil litigation matters.
Patrick is also the published author of "The Apple Cat and the Fanboy Mouse" (9 North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology. 293), an examination of copyright infringement implications for consumers "unlocking" their iPhones from AT&T service.
