Lori Lofano focuses her practice on implementing uniform discovery processes and procedures in product liability cases for clients throughout the United States and internationally. Her practice is heavily concentrated on e-discovery issues. In this regard, she helps clients strategize regarding how to gather and retain their electronically stored information and creates litigation holds that have been tailored to the issues and facts of each case. She also supervises hand-picked teams of experienced reviewers who review electronically stored documents for relevance and privilege on both large-scale projects and in discrete cases for eventual production in her clients' cases.
Lori prepares discovery responses and the production of documents in conjunction with her clients with the aim of minimizing client risk and potential sanctions and providing uniform responses in cases around the country. Further, she also prepares discovery motions and responses to motions to compel or, in rare instances, motions for sanctions against her clients, in addition to working with trial counsel and clients to resolve discovery disputes.
Lori serves as national counsel for one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers on discovery in product liability cases primarily involving rollovers.
Outside the firm, Lori is a first degree blackbelt who teaches kung fu and tai chi classes.
