Bowman and Brooke is pleased to announce that Angela Strickland has been appointed to a three year term as co-chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation Automotive Subcommittee.
Angela, a partner in the firm's Columbia office, brings a diverse background of motor vehicle product liability litigation to her newly-appointed position. She represents automotive clients across the country in a variety of cases involving alleged product defects such as airbags, seatbelts, handling and stability, unintended acceleration and post-collision fuel-fed fires. Her practice experience also includes consumer and industrial product liability, having handled matters for forklift and conveyor system manufacturers.
Alumna of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Angela holds multiple memberships including the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association and the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. She was recognized as Lander University's Young Alumnus of the Year in 2013 and received a Certificate of Achievement for the South Carolina Bar’s 2012-2013 Leadership Academy in the Young Lawyers Division.
