David Janis has over five years of commercial litigation experience and practices primarily in the areas of product liability, tobacco litigation, antitrust law, franchise law, and construction law. David has represented numerous large construction companies in construction lien foreclosure and breach of contract actions.
David has served as part of several trial teams defending some of the nation's largest corporations in claims ranging from wrongful death and personal injury to breach of warranty. David currently serves as the Vice Chair/Chair Elect of the Antitrust, Franchising and Trade Regulation Section of the Michigan State Bar.
While in law school, David interned at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, for the Honorable Avern Cohn. He is also a contributing editor to the Handbook of Fraud Deterrence, where he provides an overview of the legal process for fraud deterrence professionals.
