Biography

Brian Takahashi focuses his practice on the representation of manufacturers in commercial and product liability matters.

 

An experienced trial attorney, Brian has tried and arbitrated several matters throughout his career including breach of contract, construction, consumer warranty, fraud, inverse condemnation, insurance coverage, personal injury and product liability cases. In addition, Brian serves as regional counsel for several major manufacturers of automobiles and appliances.

 

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science, Brian has a significant amount of knowledge of the investigation, litigation and trial of cases involving metallurgical failures. In this vein, he has a continuing interest in failure analysis and the evolving spoliation case law.  Among the more notable cases Brian has participated in during his career was the representation of Aloha Airlines in the litigation which arose out of Flight 243’s fuselage failure.
