Bard D. Borkon

Biography

Bard Borkon is an esteemed trial attorney with extensive experience in defending product liability claims, nursing home patient care liability and commercial litigation matters. His practice is primarily focused on automotive product liability litigation, where he has been involved in rollover, seat belt, airbag, and door latch trials.

Bard's product liability experience includes representing corporate clients nationwide. He has tried cases for auto manufacturers in California, Texas, Nevada, and Wisconsin, and has participated in trials in six other states. Bard has argued before the Missouri Supreme Court on behalf of a major automobile manufacturer and has defended cases involving a wide variety of other products, including computer keyboards, construction equipment, wood finishing materials, farm machinery, power tools, bicycles, and home water filtration equipment.

Bard's healthcare litigation practice has focused on defending long-term care facilities in patient liability cases. He has frequently defended individual healthcare providers and facilities in various malpractice and negligence actions. Bard has also represented clients in commercial litigation, including breach of warranty, breach of contract, and debtor/creditor matters.
