Community Involvement

Our commitment and obligations to the communities we serve extend beyond the courtroom, through volunteer work by our lawyers and staff within the communities they serve.

We are involved in a number of charitable causes, and contribute time and energy to organizations throughout the country, including, but not limited to: the California Minority Counsel Program, the Minneapolis Food Shelter, the Leland-Johnson Common Vision Program, Sharing & Caring Hands, Paradise Valley Hospital, the Boys’ and Girls’ Club’s Adopt-a-Family Program, CARITAS (Churches Around Richmond Involved to Assure Shelter), the American Red Cross, and the Children’s Home Society of Virginia.

We not only defend children and products liability litigation, we promote child product safety in the communities where we work and live. Our commitment to child product safety, includes sponsorship within a national organization, which provides  effective and easy-to- understand product guidelines in English and Spanish.  This service is offered free of charge to parents and caregivers. In addition, our attorneys visit local schools to teach product and child automotive safety.

Our lawyers devote countless hours every year to pro bono legal work. By devoting our time and resources to working with those who otherwise would not have access to excellent legal representation, we hope to make a significant and lasting contribution to our communities.
