Greg Gilmer has devoted his professional experience to litigation in federal and state courts. He has a broad-based practice covering a variety of major tort and complex business litigation matters. Greg has defended corporations in products liability and personal injury cases involving the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products, including automobiles, aircrafts, trucks, ATVs, recreational vehicles and toxic chemicals.
Greg has defended long-term care facilities and nursing homes in personal injury cases involving elder abuse allegations. Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Greg gained extensive experience in this area while assisting his mother, an occupational therapist of thirty years, and while working for an organization that educated and represented inner-city elderly.
He also has extensive complex business litigation experience in defending corporations against allegations of breach of contract, fraud and Unfair Business Competition (California Business & Professions Code, Section 17200) claims. His experience also includes the defense of insurance companies and their insureds in many types of litigation including first-party and third-party bad faith actions.
