Fortune Glasse's litigation practice focuses on the defense of automotive manufacturers in motor vehicle warranty, and product liability claims. Throughout her legal career, she also has experience defending matters involving government compliance, contract law, employment and commercial matters for clients in venues nationwide.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Fortune was a trial attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice. Her practice addressed systemic civil rights violations in the conditions of confinement in nursing homes and state and local detention facilities, as well as misconduct of law enforcement agencies. She also served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Lawrence R. Leavitt of the United States District Court, District of Nevada.
During law school, Fortune externed with the South African Human Rights Commission in Cape Town, South Africa.
