Samuel Nouhan's practice includes product liability defense, municipal law, government immunity, civil rights defense, personal injury defenses, property law litigation and tax foreclosure.

Samuel's legal presence was formulated while clerking for the Honorable Richard Suhrheinrich and the Honorable Lawrence Zatkoff, as he obtained valuable experience preparing bench memoranda and drafting judicial opinions, in addition to participating in numerous hearings and trials.  Expanding his knowledge depth, Samuel assumed a role as an associate working in our Detroit office, in which he handled product liability claims involving automobiles, trucks, motorcycles and farm equipment.

While working in the Office of Wayne County Corporation Counsel, Samuel assumed roles of Assistant Corporation Counsel, and later Supervisory Attorney and Chief of Litigation.  He handled personal injury, civil rights and municipal lawsuits, as well as labor and employment issues.  He has extensive trial experience, in addition to familiarity with municipal civil rights lawsuits and federal practice and procedure.  He also defended Wayne County in a longstanding dispute with the U.S. Department of Justice involving alleged civil rights violations.  Sam currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Wayne County Airport Authority, which is responsible for the management and operation of two airports.
