Rebecca Herbig's nationwide litigation practice focuses on the defense of health care professionals and entities in medical malpractice and negligence actions, as well as the defense of manufacturers in product liability actions.  Her areas of focus include: defense of long-term care facilities, assisted-living facilities and other medical facilities, reclined seat litigation, restraint system failure litigation, child safety litigation, and rollover litigation.

Rebecca is well-versed in all stages of litigation, including discovery, pre-trial and trial practice.  Early in her career, Rebecca third-chaired a catastrophic injury product liability action.  She has also handled a number of other trials in both the first- and second-chair capacity.  Rebecca prides herself on attention to detail and fostering strong and successful relationships.

Rebecca is also highly committed to the professional organizations of which she is a member. She currently serves on both the Executive Board of the Young Lawyer's Section of the Richmond Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute's Young Lawyers Steering Committee. She is a familiar face at DRI, VADA and RBA events, both as a presenter and attendee and firmly believes in the importance of collegiality in the legal profession.
