Jill S. Goldsmith
Phoenix, Arizona
Jill Goldsmith's trial practice is concentrated in complex civil litigation, including the defense of products, healthcare claims, and commercial litigation.
She defends long term care, assisted living facilities and home health agencies in matters involving claims of professional negligence and elder abuse and neglect claims. In defense of product manufacturers, Jill has represented automobile, motorcycle, tire, children's toys, bicycles, medical devices and all-terrain vehicle manufacturers. She has also defended a number of companies in commercial litigation disputes, including software licensing companies.
Jill has served on the Institutional Review Board for the Phoenix Children's Hospital, the Paradise Valley Hospital Review Board, and the Institutional Review Board of the Phoenix Regional Medical Center Hospital. The boards approve clinical trials of medical devices and pharmaceuticals that are conducted at the hospital.
An AV Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, Jill is sought after for her knowledge in long-term care litigation, and has lectured at the August 2005 and March 2007 Arizona Health Care Association seminars, and the April 2007 and April 2008 American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, January 2009, Arizona Corporate Counsel.
