David has grown his practice to focus on defending corporate clients in the areas of products liability, motor vehicle warranty, toxic torts and commercial litigation.  During his time with Bowman and Brooke, David has served as both national safety belt discovery counsel for a major automobile manufacturer and as regional litigation counsel for a national retailer.

Through his efforts as a judicial intern for the Michigan Supreme Court and a law clerk for the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, David's litigation savvy is complemented by a strong understanding of the appellate realm and professional ethics.

A true international lawyer, David is also licensed as a barrister and solicitor with the Law Society of Upper Canada, where he currently serves as solicitor of record in complex Canadian litigation pending from British Columbia to Nova Scotia.  Preparing cases for trial across North America, David has developed a strong understanding of state, provincial, and federal law and procedure within multiple jurisdictions.

Dedicated to serving the community, David is legal counsel to his local chamber of commerce and is a volunteer mediator with the Wayne Mediation Center in domestic, special education, and probate matters.  In addition to his pro bono work, David spent four years as a member of the Lakeshore Police Services Board and currently serves as an associate director with the Harrow and Colchester South Agricultural Society. A prolific grant writer, David has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for community based non-profit organizations.
